Swimtopia is entering a new era—one defined by deeper investment, expanded capabilities, and a bold vision for the future of swimming technology.
Today, we’re announcing plans to offer Swimtopia Meet as a standalone product, making our modern meet management technology available to any team, event organizer, meet host, league, or governing body.
The announcement marks a significant step in Swimtopia’s commitment to becoming the definitive technology platform for competitive swimming and building the modern, purpose-built solutions the sport deserves. It also accelerates Swimtopia’s development of shared technology, connected data, and integrated experiences across its Team, Meet, League, and Mobile products.
“We believe swimming deserves its own purpose-built technology that supports the unique and complex needs of the industry,” said Alan Rice, President of Swimtopia. “We’re tripling down on our swimming focus, growing our team, investing in our products, and ensuring we maintain the same caliber of best-in-class, responsive customer support our current users already experience.”
A New Generation of Meet Management, Built for All of Swimming
Building on more than 30,000 meets run using Swimtopia’s meet management software, the company is expanding its capabilities to support the needs of the entire competitive swimming industry.
For the first time, Swimtopia Meet will be available independently from Swimtopia Team. This will allow any team, governing body, event organizer, or meet host to access Swimtopia’s meet technology independently, while also providing a path into a broader connected platform spanning team management, league operations, and mobile engagement.
The Swimtopia Meet roadmap includes expanded support for complex championship formats, including preliminaries and finals, along with other features such as combined heats and events, seamless integrations with all major timing systems, and new tools designed to simplify how meets are planned, staffed, managed, and experienced.
“We’re not interested in recreating yesterday’s meet software,” said Mason Hale, Founder and CEO of Swimtopia. “We’re building what will become the new standard—modern, intuitive meet management technology designed around the people running meets today.”
Swimtopia Meet also creates a new entry point for year-round clubs, leagues, governing bodies, schools, event hosts, and other organizations to begin using Swimtopia’s technology at a time when many in the swimming community are actively looking for an alternative to the legacy tools they have long relied on.
Investing in the Future of Swimming
The rebrand and planned product launch reflect a broader, sustained investment Swimtopia is making across its business. Over the next year, Swimtopia will make its largest investment in product and engineering to date while continuing to scale its best-in-class support team. This investment in resources, tools, and talent demonstrates Swimtopia’s commitment to serving every level of the sport.
“Anyone who’s run a swim meet at 6 a.m. on a Saturday knows you need support from people who actually get it,” said Tracy Nelson, Director of Customer Success at Swimtopia. “That’s what we’ve built our reputation on in summer rec, and it’s what we’re bringing to club teams, leagues, and every other corner of this sport.”
One Complete Suite for Swimming
Alongside its meet management announcement, Swimtopia unveiled a new brand identity reflecting its evolution into a modern, technology-first company serving the full competitive swimming ecosystem.
The new identity brings Swimtopia’s connected product suite together under one unified brand:
- Team — Complete team management, including registration, communications, volunteer coordination, billing, and custom team websites.
- Meet — Modern meet management technology for events ranging from local dual meets and club-hosted competitions to complex championship meets.
- League — Powerful tools for leagues and governing bodies to manage teams, schedules, standings, communications, administrative functions, and league-wide operations.
- Mobile — A connected mobile experience providing swimmers, families, coaches, officials, administrators, and fans with live meet updates, personalized athlete information, heat sheets, notifications, and more.
Each product delivers value independently. Together, they create a connected technology platform built to reduce duplicate work, improve information sharing, and provide a seamlessly integrated experience for users across the sport.
Swimtopia’s new visual identity signals the company’s growth from its summer league roots into a professional, modern platform capable of serving every level of competitive swimming. The rebrand is not a departure from those roots, but a reflection of how far the company—and its vision—has grown.
Built by Swim People, for Swim People
Swimtopia’s commitment to purpose-built technology comes from its deep connection to the swimming community.
The company was founded by swim parent Mason Hale, who was searching for a better way to manage the demands of a summer swim team. Today, Swimtopia’s team includes swimmers, parents, coaches, officials, club participants, team and league administrators, and others with firsthand experience across the sport.
That perspective shapes every part of the company—from product design and customer support to sales, education, and long-term innovation.
“We’re not outsiders building generic technology and trying to make it work for swimming,” Hale said. “We’re swim people building software for swim people. We understand the challenges because we’ve experienced them ourselves, and supporting this community will always be our ‘Why.’”
Swimtopia is building toward a future where teams, meet hosts, leagues, governing bodies, athletes, and families can participate in the sport through one connected platform—from a swimmer’s first summer league meet through the highest levels of championship competition.
“Our goal is for Swimtopia to be the first name people think of when they think about swimming technology,” Rice said. “We want to remove barriers for the people and organizations that make this sport possible, help swimming communities thrive, and create a better experience for everyone involved.”
The best of swimming. All in one place.
