SwimTopia’s Holiday Gift Guide 2024

Holiday gift guide

Just like that, almost another year has gone by and another holiday season has arrived. Here at SwimTopia, we’re excitedly preparing for 2025 and what we hope is the best year yet for our company and customers. We know that many of our swim parents are also experiencing the “hustle” of the season: whether it’s taking kiddos to winter training practices, hosting or traveling to families, or getting summer swim season plans underway. We want to ease the holiday stress by presenting our 2024 holiday gift guide.

We’ve polled, researched, and tested and we’re confident we’ve got a list that has at least something for every swim kiddo out there (including your college “kiddos,” too).  Take a look at our top ten below!

1. Microfiber Towel– the fast drying fabric of these towels will have your swimmer dry in a matter of seconds. Small enough to fit into its travel size container, microfiber towels remove the bulk of traditional towels. Make this present extra special- get the towel embroidered with your swimmer’s name/team and in team colors!

2. Chlorine Shampoo/Conditioner– this one is typically a mainstay on our holiday gift guides. Keep hair clean, chlorine free, and less prone to future chlorine absorption. Our favorite brand is TriHard, a sponsor of Kona Triathlon World Championships winner Lucy Charles-Barclay!

3. LMNT Variety Pack– it’s no secret our swimmers work hard day in and day out. Training takes a toll on their bodies and means they require electrolyte replacement to maintain a homeostatic status. Electrolyte replacement will keep your athlete heart healthy, improve recovery, and minimize cramping during training/racing.

4. Recovery Bath Soak– because who doesn’t enjoy a relaxing post workout bath with healing properties? An excellent stocking stuffer, this one will come in handy after some of those heavy winter training practices!

5. Fish-Flops– deck and shower shoes are a must! Goofy but practical, these fish-flops will protect your swimmer’s feet/prevent slipping on the pool deck and double as entertainment. In a variety of colors, fish-flops are the practical gag gift of the year!

6. Massage Gun– another product that typically features on our gift guides. These pint-size massage guns are easy to bring on the go and will keep your swimmers’ muscles fresh after practice, at a meet, or on vacation.

7. Fuzzy Crocs– this pool deck/winter time staple simply isn’t going away! Especially popular with younger swimmers due to their customizability (decorate with “Jibbitz” charms to make them your swimmers’ own!), fuzzy crocs double as pool deck shoes and feet warmers during winter training/cooler indoor meet temps.

8. Rumpl Blanket– a replacement for the traditional parka! The Rumpl blanket is warm, water-resistant, and can tie around your swimmer’s neck like a coat (i.e. replacing the parka and standing in for a superhero cape). These are great for meet day, either for warmth or to sit on during grassy summer swim meets.

9. Stanley Tumbler– the water bottle is always a popular holiday gift and we’ve seen many varieties grow in popularity over the years. We all remember the CamelBak and the Yeti tumbler. This year we’re seeing a trend toward the Stanley tumbler- stainless steel, spillage proof, and coming in a variety of different colors. Keep your swimmer hydrated with a fun-to-use drinking container (filled with LMNT electrolyte-infused water!).

10. Squishmallows– a huggable, comforting stuffed animal friend! Perfect for 12 and unders. With a comforting softness, this product can alleviate meet day nerves and serve as a pillow when resting between events. Squishmallows are collectible and come in many different designs.

We’re hoping you found this list helpful and we’d love to hear feedback from you! What have been some of your swimmers’ favorite gifts over the years? Comment below.
