If your team offers items like t-shirts, team suits, personalized caps, or sponsorships for sale during registration, the first step is to add these items to your team’s merchandise catalog. Once they’re in the catalog, you can include them in your registration form, allowing your team members to pre-order and purchase these items.

Enabling the Merchandise Section During Registration
After adding items to your merchandise catalog, navigate back to the Registration section, select your current registration form from the list, and locate the Merchandise tab to begin incorporating specific items into your form.
To allow pre-order and purchase options for these merchandise items:
- 1. Click Enable this section.
- 2. Provide a title and description for this merchandise section as needed.
Athlete Merchandise Offers vs. Additional Merchandise Offers
When you offer items for sale during registration, you’ll need to decide where to place them in the form. Most teams categorize their athlete-specific merchandise separately from other additional items.
Athlete Merchandise Offers
This section is for athlete-specific items like free team t-shirts or personalized swim caps. Items here are automatically limited to one per athlete. For instance, if every athlete is eligible to receive a team t-shirt, you can configure it in this section.
To add a free t-shirt per athlete:
- 1. Select Add Athlete Merchandise Offer and choose the t-shirt from the list.
- 2. Check Override price and enter “0” to make the shirt free for athletes.
- 3. Enable the Require selection option to ensure athletes choose a t-shirt size.

Additional Merchandise Offers
If parents can buy more than one of something, such as a team towel or swim cap, or, to purchase extra t-shirts beyond the free one, these items should be set up in this section.
Parent View
Here is what your parents will see during the registration process:
- Per-Athlete Merchandise: the swimmer is receiving a free T-Shirt and Hoodies and is being asked to select the size they would like, along with the personalized name for the back.
- Additional Merchandise: the parents also have the option of purchasing the hoodie for $40 and personalizing it if desired. They can select the quantity of each size they would like to buy.
