Meet Maestro allows you to manage certain aspects of the seeding and scoring of your swim meet, whether you’re setting up division-based scoring, running a double dual meet, or adjusting for last-minute changes like scratches or deck entries. Here’s everything you need to know about configuring and adjusting your meet’s seeding and scoring settings.

Accessing Seeding & Scoring Settings
To access seeding and scoring options, head to the Meet Maestro Settings by clicking the gear icon in the top-right corner. From there, navigate to the Seeding & Scoring tab to view and adjust your configurations.
This tab allows you to:
- Set or update your meet’s seeding rules
- Define placing/scoring rules and point values
- Enable scoring by divisions
- Enable double-dual scoring
- Reseed or rescore events as needed
Note: The configurations you see here originate from the Meet Setup > Seeding & Scoring tab in your SwimTopia meet. If you make changes directly in Meet Maestro, those updates will not be reflected back in the SwimTopia meet setup.
Reseeding Events
If you’ve made significant changes to your meet—such as updating the event order, adding athletes, or entering deck changes—you may need to reseed all or part of the meet. Meet Maestro offers two options:
- Reseed Entire Meet
- Reseed Range of Events
If any results already exist in the events you’re attempting to reseed, Meet Maestro will prompt you with a confirmation message before proceeding.
⚠️ Note: Reseeding will invalidate any pre-printed heat sheets or timing sheets. Be sure to reprint these documents after reseeding.
Rescoring Events
Similarly, if you’ve forgotten to assign point values, changed the scoring rules, or modified scoring options after running the meet, after making necessary changes, you can choose to:
- Rescore Entire Meet
- Rescore Range of Events
⚠️ Note: Rescoring will make any pre-printed results reports obsolete. Be sure to regenerate and reprint any relevant reports after rescoring.
